Produccions ContraBaix is a young project whose roots are found in a concert network at the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Despite its very short history, it has produced a catalogue of seven recordings with some of the most outstanding jazz musicians of the Barcelona and Spanish scenes, all with a Latin and Mediterranean touch: Javier Colina, Perico Sambeat, Horacio Fumero, Marc Miralta, Guillermo McGill, Carme Canela, Lluís Vidal, Joan Monné, Tete Montoliu, Jordi Rossy, Antonio Serrano, OAM Trio

In close contact with the artists, Produccions ContraBaix is involved in the projects from the conception of the idea to the last live performance, going through the recording, the promotion and the booking, and assuming a role of comprehensive management and support to the musician.

Today, Produccions ContraBaix has a roster of more than fifteen artists, including among others Colina Miralta Sambeat CMS Trio, Jordi Rossy Quintet, Colina Serrano Project, joined in the last year first European music figures such as the pianists Jean Baptiste Trotignon and Michael Wollny and the dutch singer Hamel.
