Since last May is on sale Iulianus Suite (ContraBaix/Karonte, 2010), the debut album of Jordi Rossy Quintet, formed by the pianist and composer Jorge Rossy, the organist Albert Sanz, the drummer RJ Miller, the saxophonist Chris Cheek and the trumpeter Felix Rossy. On this record the quintet offers a fascinating tour of the most atmospheric and melodic sounds of contemporary jazz, in which each musician brings an instrumental colour setting just a set full of strength narrative.
