A new entry is added to the list of new artists who in the last few months joined the roster by Produccions ContraBaix, a Honduran singer, Eva Cortés. Her music reflects influences from her cultural mix, as well as from different musical genres developed during her career as a singer. In 2010 Eva Cortés will be staging live her second record, Como agua entre los dedos (Universal 2009). As her base she relies on her trio with Pepe Rivero as a pianist and arranger, Toño Martín on double bass and Mark Mondesir on drums and with the same formation she will also stage live. Como agua entre los dedos is an album of original songs the majority of which composed by Eva Cortés, while for the rest there are Spanish adaptations of standards such as "You don't know what love is" or "La Vie en Rose".
