The presentation of Colina Serrano Project (Universal/ContraBaix) which broke audience records closed the first edition of the series of shows by “Jazz a L’Auditori – Cicle ContraBaix”. A live show of Colina Serrano Project, a record which combined talents of a double bass player, Javier Colina, and the harmonica player, Antonio Serrano, on 17th December closed the first edition of the program “Jazz a L’Auditori – Cicle ContraBaix”, an initiative which resulted in four concerts in L’Auditori de Barcelona in the second half of 2009. The club Luz de Gas in Barcelona full of enthusiastic fans enjoyed eclectic and energetic musical offer of this quartet accompanied apart from Colina and Serrano, also by Guillermo McGill on drums and Mariano Díaz on piano. The series of shows by “Jazz a L’Auditori-Cicle ContraBaix” will be staged again in Barcelona in March 2010. |
