Last November had its premiere, at the Jazz Festivals of Barcelona and Madrid, a new project focused on the music of Frederic Mompou: Mompiana. A composing work of the composer and pianist Lluís Vidal that counts with the musicians of his trio (Masa Kamaguchi & David Xirgu); the outstanding collaboration of Dave Douglas, an international icon of the vanguard jazz music; together with another icon in the Spanish jazz scene: Perico Sambeat. The album will come out next autum with the record label Universal.
