Wouter Hamel is undoubtedly one of the new singers and most celebrated European composers of the time. Born in 1977 in The Hague, Hamel has recorded two albums so far, Hamel and Nobody's Tune , in which he offers a very personal collection of songs that merge arrangements and jazz textures with the expressiveness and melodic pop load. With this material, the voice of Wouter Hamel, who has been compared to singers like Mel Torme, Rufus Wainwright, Jamie Cullum, facing each of their songs as a modern crooner, exerting a sublime seduction with the public that has already been be a true mass phenomenon in his native Holland and even in exotic Japan.
