Cravo e Canela
Brazilian Music is one of the favorite musical traditions for both Lluís Vidal and Carme Canela. Cravo e Canela was born from this musical admiration. The curious mixture of rhythm, melody, harmony and text has become an essential part of the musical vocabulary of Canela. On the other hand, the arrangements of Vidal offers us a jazzy version of this music, bringing his personal touch and conferring coherence to the repertoire. Further, since most of the songs are adapted to Catalan, we will be able to enjoy the whole concept: the fact that Brazilian music unites the poetry of the texts to the lyricism of the music.
