L’Auditori, CP Jazz and Produccions ContraBaix presents L’Auditori: Lighthouse Music, a new season, framed within the Festival Grec, which will be in L’Auditori during the month of July with interesting new musical choices. |
L’Auditori: Lighthouse Music is eclectic, diverse and unimpeded, and seek to democratize the music, attracting diverse audiences and generate a meeting point between different musical references that encourage the pleasure of listening to live music. Lighthouse wants to become a reference label hosting the musical tradition of the twentieth century and the most innovative in the field of improvisation.
In this first edition, L’Auditori: Lighthouse Music starts with a perfect balance between contemporary music legends from the sixties and seventies, as Dr. John (July 12) or Bobby Hutcherson (July 14), and new figures of international fame, as The Bad Plus (July 13) and Béla Fleck (19 July, in double concert with Richard Bona). The other double proposal to close the season, on July 21, is Arturo Sandoval Sextet and Silvia Perez Cruz & Javier Colina Trio featuring Perico Sambeat.
